Description: 10 to 15 cm in length, 4 to 5 cm wide; color is bright orange to dull or bright yellow with small scattered black flecks; oval with short rounded projections covering its body; two antenna-like rhinophores at anterior end; a circular, many-branched cluster of gills emerge on the posterior end.

Habitat: Found on pilings, around docks, and on rocks below the low tide line.

Natural History: It feeds entirely on upon sponges, and prefers Halichondria. It gets its color from the sponges that it eats, this helps to camouflage the nudibranch from its enemies.
